  • Define DevOps and its benefits
  • Explain continuous security and testing
  • Summarize the SAFe CALMR approach to DevOps

2. Value Stream Mapping

  • Explain the purpose of mapping a Value Stream
  • Analyze the health of your development value stream

3. Continuous Exploration

  • Create Solution hypotheses
  • Summarize how to collaborate and research Customer needs
  • Define how to architect the Solution for continuous delivery
  • Demonstrate how to synthesize Solution ideas into ART Backlog Features
  • Utilize WSJF to prioritize a DevOps backlog

4. Continuous Integration

  • Explain how to develop the Solution
  • Summarize how to build continuously
  • Plan how to test end-to-end
  • Summarize how to stage the Solution for deployment

5. Continuous Deployment

  • Summarize how to deploy to production
  • Explain how to verify the Solution
  • Plan how to monitor the health of the Solution
  • Explain how to respond and recover

Exam Pattern and Duration

Training: 2 Days
The course material shall be issued before the course starts.

Exam: 90 minutes
The exam is held separately from the training course.
First attempt included in the course registration fee if taken within 30 days of course completion

Exam Pattern

SAFe® DevOps certification exam consists of the following:

  • 45 multiple-choice questions single select format, web-based, closed book, no outside assistance
  • Passing score is 73% and should be completed within 90 minutes.
