Allotted Examination Time: 240 minutes duration
The PMP examination comprises 180 questions. Of the 180 questions, 5 are considered pretest questions. Pretest questions do not affect the score and are used in examinations as an effective and legitimate way to test the validity of future examination questions. All questions are randomly placed throughout the examination.

The PMP certification proves that an individual has project leadership and expertise in any way of working: predictive, hybrid or agile. It demonstrates your ability to lead projects without being tied to any specific industry or geographic location
Course Description
Processworks PMP (Project Management Professional) Contact Hours Training course provides an overview to the Eighth Edition (2026) of the PMBOK Guide, and additional topics related to project management that are typically part of the exam content outline (ECO).
Course lectures are supplemented with hand-outs and additional information for self-study, study tips, list of relevant books etc. The curriculum is intensive.
Full course attendance will earn the candidate a “certificate of completion”. This certificate of completion with 35 Project Management Contact Hours fulfils one of the PMP® exam eligibility requirements for project management education.
Course Methodology
The course helps participants understand concepts and terminologies that will be used in the PMP® which include the three domains namely People, Process and Business Environment.
The tests & quizzes are closely aligned with the style of the PMP® exam, aimed at strengthening a candidate’s appreciation of project management principles and practice. The reasoning for deciding the best answer from the 4 multiple choice answers will be discussed. The final 3 hours of this program would include a 110-question paper* (simulating the final exam). These questions are specially selected and arranged to help participants recall the course content, familiarity with the PMBOK® navigation (for concepts and jargon), and to confirm that they are aligned with PMI® interpretation of the project management best practices. The answers for the questions are discussed in the class.
Approximately 1-2 hours of lecture + discussion/relevant class exercises on each chapter, followed by a quick test (in the exam-style) on the topic covered.

Eligibility Requirements to take the PMP Exam
PMP certification holders are expected to have a robust background, which includes academic and commercial training as well as professional experience working as a project practitioner. Candidates for the PMP certification must apply to gain eligibility to take the PMP certification exam.
To be eligible for the PMP certification, you must meet one of the educational and professional experience paths listed below. All project management experience must have been accrued within the last 10 years in a professional setting prior to your application submission.
A candidate must either attain:
- Completion of upper-secondary/secondary school (e.g., High School Diploma, Upper Secondary/School Leaving Certificate)
- Minimum 5 years of non-overlapping experience leading projects in the past 10 years
OR
- Completion of a recognized associate’s-level, higher-certificate, or advanced technical/vocational program designated as post-secondary, short-cycle tertiary).
- Minimum 4 years of non-overlapping experience leading projects in the past 10 years
OR
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from a recognized/authorized institution
- Minimum 3 years of non-overlapping experience leading projects in the past 10 years+
OR
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree awarded by a program accredited by PMI’s Global Accreditation Center (GAC). (GAC accreditation is a program quality designation and does not, by itself, change the degree level required for eligibility).
- Minimum 2 years of non-overlapping experience leading projects in the past 10 years
