Course Summary

The use of Agile as an approach to managing projects is growing rapidly all over the world. The PMI-ACP® (Agile Certified Practitioner) certification recognizes knowledge of agile principles, practices and tools and techniques across agile methodologies.

This course covers the PMI-ACP® Examination Content Outline, on which the PMI-ACP® certification exam is based. It provides an essential knowledge of Agile along with a detailed coverage of the examination content.

Pre-Requisites

Course Participation Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites to attend the training.

Certification Exam Prerequisites:

A candidate must attain:

  • Secondary Degree (High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree or global equivalent)
  • 2,000 hours (approx 12 months) of General Project Experience
  • Experience must be earned within the last 5 years.
  • 1,500 hours (approx 8 months) of Agile Project Experience (These hours are in addition to the 2000 hours required in “general project experience”)
  • Experience must be earned within the last 3 years
  •  21 contact hours of training in Agile Practices

Training and Exam Duration

Training: 3 days.
The course material shall be issued on the first day of the course during registration.

Exam: 3 hours duration
The exam may be scheduled at a Pearsonvue testing centre close to your location or from from home or your office – whatever works better for the candidate. (https://home.pearsonvue.com/pmi).

Exam Pattern

The PMI-ACP exam consists of 120 multiple choice questions. The exam is closed-book, i.e. no materials are allowed to be used.
