Introduction

As the world becomes more complex and our work increasingly interdependent, solving problems and making decisions is more challenging than ever before. Problem solving and decision making are critical skills for working professionals, yet most people learn these skills through trial and error and receive minimal formal training in these disciplines.

Cognitive science has made great strides during the past two decades towards better understanding of how humans solve problems and make decisions. Course Objective
