Business Modeling Using the UML




COURSE DESCRIPTION Business models provide the understanding and context required to define software requirements.  They also play an important role in enterprise architecture, workflow, business process improvement and quality management. This one-day course shows participants how to develop a business model using the UML.  Two aspects of business models are covered: modelling business processes using UML activity diagrams; and identifying the information that supports business processes. The course concludes with a brief discussion of how business model relate to software requirements.
