Introduction to Microsoft® Visio 2010 Professional

 

Workshop Overview & Objectives

MS Visio is one of the more popular software applications for creating diagrams, developing design plans and for using vector graphics. Some of the usages of MS Visio are to create flowcharts, workflows, business processes, network diagrams, graphs and maps. Many users create scaled drawings such as office plans, site plans, architectural and engineering diagrams.

The ability to link data with the diagrams has led this application to be a winner tool since 1992.
 
This three-day workshop attempts to coach on the most commonly used features and operations. The course level is introductory and participants are expected to learn the basic functionality of MS Visio 2010.  On course completion, the attendees are expected to use the tool with confidence, demonstrate improved diagramming abilities and be equipped to explore new features.

The course is beneficial for anyone who uses or is designated to use MS Visio for developing business application diagrams.   

Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Process Architects, Software Managers, IT Managers and HR professional would find this course useful.

 

Pre-Requisites

Assumes no prior knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

 

 

Requirements

Participants are expected to bring laptops to the class with MS Visio 2010 Software.
Evaluation copies of the software would be available for those who may not have their own software.
