Background and Objectives

 

This course is relevant to anyone who aims to gain a professional qualification in software testing from the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB). This is a valuable professional qualification, recognized globally as the ISTQB (International S/w Test Quality Board)-compliant qualification and awarded on the basis of a one-hour multiple-choice examination. Candidates passing this examination will receive certificate from BCS carrying dual seal (ISEB+ISTQB). So this means that a candidate taking (and passing) the ISEB exam is deemed to have passed the ISTQB one too. ISTQB is an international qualification, like ISEB.

Training & Exam Duration

 

3 days, 8 hours a day training, on the day 1 all participants receive ISEB Authorized material. Exam is scheduled on 3rd day post lunch at 3:30pm.

 

Exam Pattern

 

1 hour multiple choice 40 marks Question paper. To qualify for the “Foundation level” Certificate one has to correctly answer 25 questions out of 40.

 

Result and Certificate

 

Results are announced within 2-3 weeks from the date of examination & those who clear the exam receive certificate from BCS as a governing body with ISEB/ISTQB dual seals. Certificates are dispatched directly by BCS UK at the address mentioned in the registration form filled on the exam date. Participants receive certificate within 3-4 weeks from the date of examination.
